Mariam has been working at the Behman Hospital and at outpatient clinics since 2019, where she has been providing individual and group therapy.
Mariam’s experience includes working with individuals who are dealing with difficulties including but not limited to depressive symptoms, emotional difficulties, conflicts with interpersonal relationships, attachment, self-esteem problems, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and severe/serious mental disorders.
Her priority is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic experience for her clients, using an eclectic approach tailored to suit each individual’s space, needs, and goals.
She also conducts psychometric assessments (personality assessments, depression, anxiety, cognitive abilities, IQ..etc.).
Mariam works with both adults and young adults.
She obtained an MSc in Mental Health Psychological Therapies from Queen Mary University of London after finishing her BA in Psychology from the American University in Cairo. Furthermore, she attained a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) certificate for depression and personality disorders from the Beck Institute.
Mariam conducts therapy sessions in Arabic, English, or German.
