Specialist Psychiatrist
Dr. Salama is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University. He joined The Behman hospital residency program where he worked in different psychiatric units covering different psychiatric specialties. He participated in the setting of the registrar’s curriculum when he became a senior registrar. He gained his membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and started practicing as a specialist at the Villa open ward within the hospital.
Dr. Salama is trained in different psychiatric specialties including Old Age Psychiatry, Addiction and General Adult Psychiatry. His areas of interest include mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders and utilizes an integrative approach to psychotherapy.
Dr. Salama conducts sessions in both English and Arabic and is located in Maadi and Heliopolis clinics and The Behman hospital.
